I like how this turned [...]]]> This year for one of my friends I decided to make an ornament – well it was almost going to be a pendant but I knew that she really likes having a decorated tree… so I added the ribbon.

I like how this turned out – now if I mark my calendar for July – maybe I’ll have time to make a series of ornaments for Christmas sales by the Fall shopping season.

These earrings are another set that were made as a series for a commission to go with a pendant that had already been purchased the prior year. I made 4 sets of earrings for this commision to give my customer a choice. A slightly larger version of this set was chosen.

I’ve named this one “a river runs through it” – It’s two kinds of dichroic glass with glass bead accents and sterling silver wire.

I included both pictures here so that I could show off the difference when this pendant is worn against dark or light color clothes.

Springs recovered from older office equipment , add delicate glass beads and they go together well.

Necklace and earring set made with pink and teal glass bead dangles fixed onto a sterling silver necklace. Some of these beads are cut glass and others are lamp worked.

The customer who bought this one ended up commissioning a pair of drop earrings to complement it. The irridized glass frit helps to set this one off – giving it a nice shimmer in shifting light.

I had a random assortment of blue glass beads and wanted to show them off. So I started working with some silver wire and coiling them to best feature the beads in question. Here I mixed a square bead as a focal with an oval round as a dangle.

I hadn’t seen it yet – however I told her to send it ahead and I’d do what I could.

Here’s what I did after I took the necklace apart and re-arranged the existing beads into a longer one strand necklace.

I took out the offending green glass bead (which I will reuse later)
Made one pair of new earrings in the same style – this pair now sports sterling silver ear wires.
Created another set of co-ordinating earrings for a bit of a change up.
Added in a few extra silver tone beads for balance.
Created a focal bead as a pendant drop.
And using the extra beads and a few more of my own I threw in a bracelet with magnetic clasp.
